Why communication, and why now

Every Salesforce project lives or dies in conversations: a discovery call with a client, a stand-up with the team, a hand-over to the next admin. Most of the friction we feel at work is not about skill. It happens because people prefer to communicate in different ways, and nobody has named the difference.

DISC gives us a simple, shared language for those differences. It describes four behavioural styles, Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness, that shape how each of us speaks, listens, decides and handles pressure. Once you can see the pattern, you can meet people where they are.

What you will learn

  • Why people communicate so differently, and how to recognise the patterns
  • How to adapt your style to connect with teammates, clients and leaders
  • How to turn misunderstandings into stronger working relationships
  • Practical ideas you can use at work the very next day

Meet Maxwell Tuglo

Maxwell is a Salesforce MVP (Class of 2026) from Ghana and a Maxwell Certified Speaker, Trainer and DISC Consultant through the Maxwell Tuglo Leadership & Performance Institute, where he helps teams improve communication, performance and leadership. Before Salesforce he was an accountant, a teacher and a coach. He has since trained more than 3,000 learners in Salesforce Platform Administration through ALX Africa and mentored many more through Supermums and Talent Stacker.

When he became an MVP, his first move was not a victory lap. It was more training for community leaders across Africa, on leadership and communication rather than technical skills alone. This webinar is part of that promise. Read Maxwell’s full story in our MVP Spotlight.

Who should join

Admins, developers, business analysts, consultants, community group leaders and anyone who works with people, which is all of us. Whether you are in your first Salesforce role or leading a team, you will leave with a clearer picture of yourself and the people around you, in a room full of African Trailblazers growing together.
